Many of us know through experience, that treating individuals with eating disorders in outpatient settings can be very challenging. Often, our clients need more support than weekly individual therapy can provide, especially in the evenings, during the weekends, and of course at meal times. At Shoreline Center for Eating Disorder Treatment, we also understand that the therapeutic relationship that you have developed with your client might be the most important component in their journey towards recovery. With that in mind, Shoreline Center for Eating Disorder Treatment is unique. We welcome your clients to participate in our programs, or as a guest at Satori House, our extended care residence, while continuing to receive therapy and recovery services from you and nutrition counseling from their outpatient dietitian.
In fact, it is you that will know best, what specific eating disorder behavior challenges and goals your client will need to address during their treatment phase with us. We are eager to collaborate with you and feel that this combination of support with consistent and open communication between professionals will be filling a missing treatment piece many clients could benefit from. Additionally, we believe the continuity of care clients receive with this format enhances their recovery.
